That's reduce the weight by about 50%!

As the FoG-R project goes on, it might be something I'd do (actually, here's a confession: some of my reiters and landsknecht shot are Games Workshop imperialists, as is one of my BIG guns and crew.)Trebianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02221916804339000102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7615782020735321095.post-41967442500027305382014-05-04T20:28:33.813+01:002014-05-04T20:28:33.813+01:00They do take up some room! The ability to split these up is allowed too often. I like Advanced Armati's rules because they don't allow that.

Of course the period is also cursed with some stinkers that are just hard work as far as I can see.Trebianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02221916804339000102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7615782020735321095.post-45062387329638843132014-05-03T07:50:24.172+01:002014-05-03T07:50:24.172+01:00Funnily enough - Renaissance players are fortunate...Funnily enough - Renaissance players are fortunate to have several good rules sets DBR FoG:R, PoW and Polemos ECW all give good games.Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13866756432233805848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7615782020735321095.post-30501254417925664492014-05-01T20:36:25.568+01:002014-05-01T20:36:25.568+01:00Don,
Perhaps yours will have grown 3mm as well.
...Don,

Perhaps yours will have grown 3mm as well.

I don't regret shifting to 15mm and then 20ish mm plastics, but there is something special about the weight and heft of the 1970s/80s 25mm figures, properly based.

Much too heavy, really, when all is said and done, and they take up so much space. However, those early Essex and the Ral Partha Swiss have so much quality and character.

Trebian
Trebianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02221916804339000102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7615782020735321095.post-74941504868964321252014-05-01T20:26:36.367+01:002014-05-01T20:26:36.367+01:00Very nice game there, you make me want to blow the...Very nice game there, you make me want to blow the dust off my pike and shot 25s....)Don Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07230631364253238804noreply@blogger.com
