It is a rather large and complex game and works well in this electronic media. Certainly not the same as seeing the game map and counters all laid out on the table but it will do. One also needs to overcome the tendency of tunnel vision since only a small portion of the game can be seen on screen in a reasonable zoom.

Still, great fun.Jonathan Freitaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07862373894196924886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7615782020735321095.post-62050854502350315942017-11-12T17:05:43.719+00:002017-11-12T17:05:43.719+00:00I don't see the attraction of computer based b...I don't see the attraction of computer based board games as I like the tactility of it all, whether pieces or figures. However I'm prepared to admit that I might be wrong. With the rules in electronic form and a Cyberboard module available for NvW, you could give the system a workout without much effort. It's why I stopped playing tactical level board games in the 70s!
But thanks for the nostalgic trip, I enjoyed reading about your experience!
Cheers, PeterPeter Douglashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14118894381672707297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7615782020735321095.post-59444403892275211852017-11-12T14:50:42.712+00:002017-11-12T14:50:42.712+00:00I don't feel an overwhelming need to play it a...I don't feel an overwhelming need to play it again.
