Before it got really busy I wandered round and got some pictures of some other display games
Note: This morning played Qids twice, - so far 1 - 1 Egyptians v Hittites. Lost to an eight year old girl and her father!
Gangs of New York |
Black Powder (I think the hexes don't count) |
Black Powder lead overloading a bridge |
WW1 Air combat |
Dystopian Wars Naval with air support |
Some GW thing in the snow |
Some nice looking tables there ;)
ReplyDeleteNice looking is about it, - nothing really inspired me to get involved
DeleteGraham, you should know not to take on 8 year-old girls with any expectation of winning :O)
ReplyDeleteI was admiring the fine collection of wargamer clothing fashions on display in the background - the green tank top and trackies being an excellent example of the new "Eastern European" style that is gradually making its presence felt at events around the country.
We can still show Gok Wan how it should be done :O)

Well, as it's an open show there's always the chance that they're actually members of the general public who've wandered into shot!
DeleteJust to clarify:
ReplyDeleteYour caption of 'Some GW thing in the snow' was in fact Privateer Press product 'Warmachine'!
Not that I am a fan of either, ofcourse, but I am a pedant!
How would you like them listing your games as 'some old figures in the sand'?
Just kidding.
Thank you for the clarification.
DeleteIn my defence there was no one about to ask and there was no promotional material, so it was an easy mistake to make.
On the SoA stand there's always someone to explain what the guys on the sandy bases are up to.
