I'm pleased to say that several of my sets of rules are now available in hardcover. As you can see "For Whom The Dice Rolls" SCW rules and "It's Getting A Bit Chile" for the 1879 Pacific War are both there, along with "Taiping Era" and "Indian Mutine-era" into combined in to one volume, called "The Era Compendium".
The books are the same size as the paperbacks, more or less (you have to make adjustments for the binding and cover) and the text is the same,. There are minor changes in the Compendium so that it makes sense as a single volume, but nothing you need if you already own them.
Except, of course, that these now lay flat on the table when opened, and can double as a figure carrier and coffee tray. And you can read the name on the spine when you put them on your bookshelf. So you probably do really need them.
"For Whom The Dice Rolls" and "It's Getting a Bit Chile" are priced at £19.99, and "The Era Compendium" is £24.99. You can get them from Amazon in the UK, US, and EU. The rest of the world, alas, isn't open for them yet.
And before you ask, the combined volume won't be available in paperback or as a down load, as it'll cost you exactly the same as buying them individually.
I'm really pleased with the look, feel and quality of these. The printers have done a superb job on them. Alas I can't stock and sell them as I don't get a discount on my purchases (no "Author Copies" rates available at the moment). On the plus side for all of you out there they come free of postage, at least in the UK when you buy direct from Amazon.
My aim in future will be to do all publications in this format because it gratifies my ego.
You can find all of my books via my Author Page on the relevant sites:
The books are on Amazon.nl, but for some reason I don't have an Author Page there.
NB The printers can only do the covers and binding on anything over 76 pages, so alas "To Ur is Human" and "Dicing with Death" remain floppy, but the others are all out there waiting for you.
